ExxonMobil has implemented SAP S/4HANA in its XTO Energy business, and the project went live successfully in January 2019. This was the first SAP S/4HANA project to go live at ExxonMobil and was the largest production revenue accounting (PRA) implementation for SAP with 66,000 wells in 16 U.S. states.
The session will cover business benefits targeted as well as PRA valuation performance, asset depreciation performance, business partner issues, SAP Joint Venture Accounting performance (cutbacks, payroll burden), and SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA Analytics Performance. The team will also discuss experience with the new functionality and innovations in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, implementation and road map of SAP Joint Venture Accounting, governance and collaboration between Exxon and SAP, and lessons learned from the implementation.
