Schlumberger’s Integrated Business Planning Journey, Powered by Agile/DevOps

Oil field equipment and services (OFES) is a complex business with a mix of products and services bundles reflecting the different phases of oil field exploration, drilling, and production. Our customers operate in a wide variety of environments and climates, demanding unique bundling of products and services. Operations planning for this bundle can be challenging to say the least. Schlumberger has selected SAP Integrated Business Planning as the platform to unify planning and drive strategic improvement in operations and supply chain planning, culminating in strategic and financial planning.

Defining and executing SAP Integrated Business Planning implementation projects across our product lines and geographies also reflects the complexity of the business.
